Initially the subject of an invited competition, the project comprised a beach side resort hotel located alongside an international standard golf facility and a major Thalassotherapy Spa.
Our winning proposal, subsequently developed by us to Scheme Design Stage then delivered by a renowned Italian architectural practice, located the most prestigious rooms in a strip behind the beach and set deep within the natural landscape. The golf courses swept amongst this occupied landscape.
The other room accommodation is constructed inland of these, in individual low-rise blocks of twelve rooms each with their own terrace or balcony. External circulation is in covered and sheltered walkways to enhance the experience of living in the landscape.
The central facility, with restaurant, bars, pools, and retail facilities was set amongst the accommodation with the Spa and Conference Centre behind to form a compact complex.
Also on site is a restored historic tower building – providing facilities for golf users including a restaurant terrace overlooking the course and a site for future luxury residential villas.
