Building on an existing working relationship Denton Corker Marshall was tasked by the Mandarin Oriental Group to assist with the development and delivery of London’s most desirable afternoon tea destination.
Working alongside GA Design International, Denton Corker Marshall helped transform a series of formal meeting rooms on the raised ground floor into a light contemporary and elegant informal space. The scheme draws on a rich palette of soft greens and gold of Hyde Park and infuses the brand colours of the Mandarin.
The 54-seater tea room features a bespoke curving polished metal champagne bar and ceremonial tea display counter along with a digital moving art centre piece.
