Irwin has been responsible for the Denton Corker Marshall office in Manchester since 2007 and acts as team leader on significant projects in the north west.
He has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction industry in the north west, with a wide range of experience, incorporating commercial and hotel projects, leisure, public buildings, residential and Master Planning developments.
His experience in the delivery of complex and technically challenging projects spans nearly two decades and Irwin maintains an engaging, hands-on methodology for each and every project as part of a problem solving approach. Irwin has well practiced methods and skills in the running of projects involving multi-stakeholder clients and has very good interpersonal skills. He has acted in the capacity of Technical Advisor to Her Majesty’s Court Service (now Ministry of Justice) on a range of public projects, reporting at key strategic review panels.
Irwin has recognised skills in the leadership of multi-disciplinary design teams, covering a range of building types including institutional and public buildings, as well as commercial projects.
